Episode 30 // Walt Henson of Red Tower Design

Thanksgiving is all about gathering around the table to share a meal and celebrate the blessings and many reasons we have to be thankful in our lives. So for this special Thanksgiving edition of the Rural Revival podcast, we’re sitting down with someone who actually makes the tables we gather around: Walt Henson, Owner of Red Tower Design and Manager of Henson Ranch in Canyon, Texas (pop. 13,303).

Walt builds custom wood furniture that tells your story and is built to last. He’s sharing how a traumatic brain injury led to him discovering his new passion for woodworking, and how he has built his custom furniture building business on word of mouth over the past two years. He also talks about managing the family ranch and why it’s important to protect your dream.

There are so many great bits of wisdom you’ll get from Walt! Plus, he is such a fun guy to follow on Instagram so be sure to go check out his feed and give him a follow. And stay tuned for some exciting things from Red Tower Design coming early next year!
