“I do not paint as a hobby. I really enjoy business. I consider myself an artist, but I more consider myself an entrepreneur because I love to interact with people, I love to sell my work, I love to work with clients and designers. I don’t just love to paint. I love to create a story, I love to create my whole social media, I love staging my artwork, I love photography. So there’s a whole business behind it that was fascinating to me.”

“I love Norwegian culture, and so I used to paint these patterns of things and I couldn’t understand why I was so drawn to pattern. And then it didn’t like effectively work until I moved to Beaufort when I started painting shells. So there’s this whole thing inside of me that I didn’t know what it was for or how I could utilize it until I got to the place where I was supposed to be.”
